Supporting Children Through loss

Grieving is a difficult journey for both adults and children, but as a parent or caregiver, you play a critical role in guiding your child through loss while navigating your own grief. Our four-week group, Supporting Children Through Loss, is designed to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge, tools, and emotional support they need to help children process grief in a healthy and meaningful way.

Over the course of four interactive sessions, we will cover:

  • The unique differences between adult and child grief.
  • How children of different developmental stages perceive and respond to loss.
  • Practical strategies for becoming an emotionally available and supportive adult.
  • Tools to create space for your child’s emotions and make room for their unique grieving process.
  • Techniques for managing your own grief while supporting your child’s healing journey.

This group is a safe space to learn, share, and connect with other caregivers navigating similar challenges. Join us to gain confidence in supporting your child’s emotional needs through loss, and leave with long-lasting tools for fostering emotional resilience in your family.
